ACCURATE REAL-TIME CLINICAL DOCUMENTATION – SYNCED DIRECTLY TO PCC

Cynthia was a registered nurse. Helping and healing those in distress had been a goal of hers since a young age. Despite all her skills and accomplishments, at times Cynthia felt helpless. While she possessed expertise and experience, she felt as though it was only put to use part of the time. Her patients required an extremely high amount of attention, as did their medical charts. It was important that she document and record things like changes to vital signs, administration of medications, progress notes and much more, which was incredibly time consuming. She often wished she could be doing more while she dejectedly sat entering patient data.

One day while getting lunch with her friend Thomas, a fellow RN who worked at another facility,Thomas told Cynthia about MyCooey, an end-to-end health monitoring mobile platform that covered everything from nursing to assisted living to post-surgical rehab. He explained how easy it was to track data in real-time. Data could even be logged hands-free using MyCooey’s AI Smart Assistant, Maya. Best of all, the data entered into MyCooey synced directly to Point Click Care, the prominent cloud-based electronic health record software used by both of their facilities.

Cynthia returned to work and relayed everything she’d learned to her boss, who was equally impressed. Within weeks, MyCooey had been implemented throughout Cynthia’s facility, and their success rate soared. Everyone’s schedule was finally on the same page with MyCooey’s 24-hour Smart Alerts and Smart Schedule. Finally, their tasks were organized in the same place and viewable by everyone. This singular view also applied to patient data and adherence reporting, giving every staff member an easy and instant look into a patient’s chart. That meant no more scrambling for information during times of high stress with critical situations.

Not only did MyCooey provide peace of mind to Cynthia and her staff, but also to her patients and their families. Since accurate updates are made and synced in real time, family members could stay informed about the status of their loved ones from anywhere using their phones. Once patients left the facility, they were also less likely to return as MyCooey helps reduce hospital readmissions by 21%thanks to post-discharge check-ins, which help catch early complications and mitigate growing issues. This was especially beneficial for Cynthia’s elderly patients, as she knew their nursing homes could face financial consequences for residents with repeated hospital visits. She loved her patients, but she didn’t want to see them in the hospital more than once!

Finally, Cynthia could provide the care her patients needed without the distractions that used to get in her way.

RPM services focusses on empowering patients to manage their health conditions with remote assistance wherever possible, e.g., diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, etc. Through RPM services, one can collect a wide range of health data from the point of care, such as vital signs, weight, blood pressure, blood sugar, blood oxygen levels, heart rate, and electrocardiograms.
